Smithsonian Institution Internships (high school pathways)

What it is

Various Smithsonian museums and research centers offer internship programs; some are open to high school students, especially in DC-area programs.

Who it’s for

Mostly for D.C.-area high-school students: the Natural History museum's internship takes rising sophomores to seniors ages 14–19, and the Secretary's Youth Advisory Council takes juniors and seniors ages 16–18 (including some national members).
