Players in the U12–U17 age groups (by birth year) who try out through their state youth soccer association.

Grade: Grades 9–12
Cost: Has a fee. Tryout fees around $30–$55, plus program fees if selected
Format: In person · Run by each state association; regional and interregional events
Commitment: School year · State training, then regional and interregional events for top players
Deadline: Tryout dates are set by your state association, usually once a year
