What it is
Students arrange their own research laboratory placement with a Rutgers NJMS faculty member who agrees to host them. Work is in person in a lab in Newark.
Who it’s for
At least 16 years old. Requires a Rutgers RBHS-NJMS faculty member to serve as host.
What you’ll likely need
- High School Proposal Form, Sponsorship Form, parent consent and insurance forms, NJ working papers, laboratory and biosafety training, and compliance with the Rutgers Protection of Minors program.
